How we choose what to stock
Every product on villaltaco.uk is catalogued with real dimensions, materials, price band, and the UK use case it serves best — small flats, narrow hallways, Victorian terraces, rented homes. We don't list anything we wouldn't put in our own home.
How we write buying guides
Buying guides combine our catalogue data, research into how the product actually performs in UK homes, and the editorial judgement of Juan Antonio Villalta Pacheco, the operator of this site. Where AI tools are useful for research and first-draft writing, we use them under that editorial review — every guide is read, edited and approved by a named human before it ships. The editor is named on every post.
How we treat trade-offs
Every product has a downside. We write the downside out — out loud, in the same guide — when it matters. If a piece pills after a few washes, has a wobbly footrest, doesn't fit a UK king bed, or costs more than the alternative without an obvious benefit, we say so. The point is to help you make a good choice, not to push every product equally.
Corrections
Found a wrong dimension, an outdated price, or a recommendation that doesn't survive a real UK home? Email support@villaltaco.uk and we'll fix the page, not the complaint.
