Large Elevated Dog Bed With Canopy and Breathable Mesh
A raised cot built for large dogs that need more floor space and the added benefit of shade. The brown fabric border and central black mesh panel lift the dog clear of hot paving or grass whilst allowing air to circulate beneath. The addition of a full arched canopy over the top provides shade from direct sunlight and light weather cover. The canopy is open on all sides so air continues to move freely rather than trapping heat underneath. The black metal frame handles the weight of large dogs effectively, with legs that stay stable on firm outdoor surfaces. Dimensions are listed at 92 x 76 cm for the sleeping surface and 90 cm to the top of the canopy
- Full Arched Canopy: Provides shade from direct sun and light rain cover whilst remaining open on all sides for continuous airflow.
- Raised Mesh Sleeping Surface: Lifts large dogs clear of hot ground with a breathable mesh centre panel for all-round ventilation.
- 92 x 76 cm Platform: Sized for larger breeds — generous enough for a Labrador or Border Collie to rest without curling up to fit.
- Clip-Together Metal Frame: Tubular steel construction assembles without tools and disassembles for transport or storage.
- Brown Fabric and Canopy: Neutral brown colourway works unobtrusively in garden or patio settings.
Raised Cot With Full Arched Canopy
The canopy arches over the entire sleeping surface to provide shade from direct sun and light weather cover — it is open on all sides so air continues to move freely rather than being trapped underneath. The brown fabric border and central black mesh panel make up the sleeping surface, raised off the ground to allow airflow on all sides and beneath. Built for large dogs with a 92 x 76 cm platform.
Outdoor Comfort for Larger Breeds
Large dogs resting outdoors in summer can overheat on exposed surfaces quickly. The combination of a raised mesh cot and a shading canopy addresses both problems simultaneously — the mesh lifts them above stored ground heat and the canopy blocks direct solar radiation from above. The open sides of the canopy mean the benefit is shade, not enclosure.
Construction
The black metal frame provides the structure for both the cot and the canopy arches. The tubular construction clips together at the joints, and the whole assembly disassembles for transport. Note that the canopy adds height — at 90 cm to the top of the arch, this structure will not sit under most standard garden tables or umbrellas.
