A Five-Tray Food Dehydrator with Adjustable Temperature and Even Airflow
A countertop food dehydrator with a stainless steel base unit and five clear stackable plastic trays, each with a mesh floor to allow 360-degree air circulation. The temperature dial on the front adjusts between 40 and 70 degrees Celsius, covering the range needed for fruit, vegetables, herbs, beef jerky and dried bread. Five trays allow multiple ingredients to be separated and dried at the same time without flavour transfer between layers. A practical unit for preserving seasonal produce or making dried snacks without additives.
- Five Clear Trays: Stackable mesh-floor trays allow 360-degree air circulation and visual checking without opening the lid.
- Adjustable Temperature: Analogue dial covers herbs (LOW/40 degrees) through fruit and vegetables (50 to 60 degrees) to beef jerky (70 degrees).
- Stainless Steel Base: Brushed stainless steel housing on the motor unit for consistent heat distribution.
- 360-Degree Airflow: Mesh tray floors allow air to circulate beneath each ingredient layer for even drying across all trays.
- Multi-Ingredient Drying: Five separate trays let you dry multiple foods at once without flavour transfer between layers.
Five-Tray Food Dehydrator
This dehydrator uses a stainless steel base housing with a motor and heating element, topped by five clear stackable plastic trays with mesh floors. The mesh floor on each tray allows heated air to circulate through the stack in a 360-degree pattern, which means the top and bottom trays dry at a comparable rate to the middle ones — a practical advantage over front-loaded designs where the nearest trays receive more direct heat.
The temperature dial on the front face adjusts between 40 and 70 degrees Celsius, with a LOW setting and an OFF position clearly marked. This range covers standard dehydrating applications: dried fruit (50 to 60 degrees), vegetables (55 degrees), beef jerky (70 degrees) and herbs (LOW/40 degrees). Five separate trays allow different ingredients to be dried simultaneously without mixing.
Trays and Airflow
Each of the five clear plastic trays has a raised mesh grid floor that holds food items above the tray base and allows airflow below the ingredient layer. The trays stack directly onto the stainless steel base, and the clear plastic lid sits on top of the uppermost tray. The clear construction means you can check progress without opening the unit and interrupting the drying cycle.
Temperature Settings
What is included
The analogue dial on the front face runs from LOW through 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70 degrees to OFF. Set the dial to the appropriate temperature for the ingredient type and leave the unit running — no timer is included, so use a kitchen timer alongside for precise drying cycles.
