Description and experienceShow

Finding a stylish yet genuinely comfortable seating solution that accommodates two people can be a challenge, especially when balancing the demands of both indoor and outdoor spaces. Traditional garden benches lack the luxurious comfort needed for extended lounging, while standard single egg chairs force you to relax alone. The Dark Grey Double Hanging Egg Chair offers the perfect solution. Engineered with a robust steel frame and weather-resistant PE rattan, this premium swing chair effortlessly supports up to 260 kg, providing a secure and spacious haven for two. The beautifully crafted open-weave basket is paired with a deeply tufted polyester cushion and two removable headrests, delivering unparalleled ergonomic support. Crucially, the innovative foldable design means you never have to compromise on space; simply collapse the basket for discreet storage when the seasons change. Transform your home into a sanctuary of shared relaxation. Whether positioned on a sunlit patio, nestled in a quiet garden corner, or serving as a striking focal point in your conservatory, this hammock chair elevates your lifestyle. Discover the joy of unwinding together, enveloped in premium comfort and contemporary design.

This oversized double hanging egg chair features a modern dark grey colour palette, with a beautifully woven PE rattan basket suspended from a sturdy, matching steel frame. The open-weave rope design creates a light, airy aesthetic, complemented by a generously padded, tufted seat cushion and two coordinating headrest pillows. Its sweeping, curved silhouette offers a welcoming, cocoon-like shape that seamlessly blends contemporary style with inviting comfort.

Technical review and performance

The chair is constructed with a high-strength steel frame providing a stable foundation for a 260 kg load. The combination of PE rattan and chic rope weaving offers a balance between aesthetic appeal and resistance to environmental weathering.

Expert take

What immediately stands out about this double hanging egg chair is the intelligent balance of robust engineering and refined aesthetics. Often, two-person swing chairs feel overly bulky, but the chic dark grey rope weave on this model keeps the visual footprint surprisingly light. The structural integrity is exceptional; the heavy-duty steel frame confidently supports up to 260 kg without any unsettling creaks or sway. Furthermore, the inclusion of a foldable basket is a masterstroke for UK homes, allowing you to effortlessly collapse the seat during harsh winter months or when you simply need more patio space for entertaining. This piece is ideal for couples or families looking to elevate their outdoor living areas, as well as anyone wanting a statement lounging piece for a large conservatory. While it is perfectly suited for outdoor use thanks to the PE rattan, you will want to store the plush polyester cushions indoors during heavy rain to maintain their premium feel. If you have the floor space to accommodate its 170cm width, this swing chair will quickly become the most sought-after seat in your home, offering a proven way to unwind in style.
